Australia’s real estate landscape is changing as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Admittedly, that change is slow. But for the first time in a long time, rent is dropping, and boomers who bought six homes three decades ago are realising their investment wasn’t quite as stable as they once imagined.

As a result, real estate agents are having to diversify and get creative. Which might be the only way to explain the video unearthed by Cameron Wilson, ex-Buzzfeed reporter, of a Gold Coast real estate agent called Matt Micallef performing his own horrifying “rap” in order to shift a property.

The use of quotation marks is very deliberate. Introducing himself as “Matty on the mic”, the real estate agent proceeds to stumble through some of the most horrifying bars this side of Viper’s discography.

Basically, no amount of contextual waffling can prepare you for this thing. It’s like the Arc unearthed at the end of the first Indiana Jones, by which I mean it’ll melt off the faces of the unprepared.

Just take a gander:

See? What did I tell you? Horrifying.
