‘The Feed’ Has Given Muffin Break A Millennial-Friendly Rebrand You Can’t Help But Say Yasss To
These muffins are gonna go off!
This week, Muffin Break has managed to alienate just about every millennial in the country — first, its general manager gave an interview lamenting the fact that not enough young people were wandering in to ask if they could work for free, then she tried to apologise for those comments by claiming she’d been misunderstood.
Thankfully, the talented PR team at The Feed has stepped in to make things right again between the millennial generation the Muffin Man. They’ve cooked up a new PR strategy for the company, one that’s sure to have young people stanning unpaid internships like they used to.
The new Muffin Break PR strategy stars comedian Cameron James as a Muffin Break spokesperson ready to start fresh. “Here at Muffin Break, we’ve had a pretty rough few days,” the video begins, cutting briefly to James having a Muffin Breakdown.
“Comments were made about millennials,” James continues. “Comments that in no way reflect the way we, in the Muffin Break fam, feel about all of y’all young people. Hey, we think you guys are dope! So dope, in fact, that we’ve released a new line of Millennial Muffins just to show you how much we stan ya.”
That collection features flavours like “Yaaasberry!”, “Go off! (it doesn’t go off, due to preservatives)”, and the rainbow-bedecked “Same Love” muffin (“it’s gay!”). There’s also “White Choc Privilege”, “Cancelled Cranberry” and more. They’re best served fresh, and you can catch the full collection in the video below.
