The First ‘Deadpool 2’ Teaser Has Leaked Online
And it is fucking great.
Oh my god you guys, it’s here. The first teaser for the feverishly anticipated Deadpool sequel. And it is fucking great.
The clip begins with Wade Wilson witnessing a mugging, before running into a public phone booth to change into his costume. Thing is, it’s not easy squeezing into all that red spandex, and by the time he’s gotten into character he’s way, way too late.
“If I’m being honest with myself, I probably should have just called 911,” reflects the mercenary as he stands over the dead body of the guy he was trying to save. “I don’t know how the other guys do it so quickly. You probably wouldn’t be dead if it was Logan. What’s he got to change into? Guy wears a fucking tank top and a pair of jeans.”
The teaser premiered in theatres this weekend attached to the front of Logan but has yet to be released officially online. Naturally, there are about half a million bootlegs floating around, although I’m not going to bother linking to any of them since by the time you get to the end of this sentence they’ll already have been taken down.
We’ll update this story when an official version hits the web, once Fox realises it’s pointless trying to keep it contained. In the meantime, you know how to use Google.
