Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013)

A sequel so bad that it never even received a theatrical release in Australia. This confused mish-mash of a movie purports to be the first and only true sequel to Tobe Hooper’s masterpiece The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974), but it can’t figure out how to transport the story to a modern setting 40 years later without succumbing to plot holes and the same bumbling horror tropes that came before. The only enjoyment (if one can have ‘enjoyment’ from a movie with ‘chainsaw’ in the title) to come from Texas Chainsaw 3D is imagining Clint Eastwood sitting in the audience with his 3D glasses on, watching his son Scott Eastwood walk around as a studly Texan cop.
