Exit (2012)

The city is a maze, a sentiment many who live in the real world would be hard-pressed to argue with. In the world of Marek Polgar’s Exit, Melbourne and the greater world around us is a literal maze.

This independently-produced film involves an underground society of people who believe there is a mythical doorway located somewhere in the city that will lead them to a better life. Making great use of the city’s distinctive and angular architecture and hidden back-alleys and industrial backdrop, Exit is remarkably effective low-key sci-fi.
