The Simpsons has taken the piss out of plenty of Presidents over the years. But few have given the writers the same wealth of material to work with as Donald J. Trump. The show repeatedly mocked the real estate mogul during his election campaign, and absolutely savaged him after his first 100 days in office. Now, with pressure building over his alleged ties to the Kremlin, the long running animated comedy has teed off on Trump again.

In a two minute promo posted to the show’s Facebook page, Trump is shown trying to smooth things over with recently dumped FBI director James Comey.

“Let’s make a deal,” the President tells the former bureau boss, who in real life is about to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee over the Russia investigation. “You hand over all your notes, and I’ll erase the tapes-I MEAN THERE ARE NO TAPES!”

But the pair are soon interrupted by the ghost of former President Richard Nixon. “I came to thank you Donald,” says the spectre. “Thanks to you, I’m now the 44th best president.”

The clip ends with a disclaimer saying it was paid for by “the committee to turn the clock ahead to 2020. Or back to whenever. Just not here.”
