Chris Rock Is Coming To Australia With His First Stand Up Show In Nine Years
Tickets go on sale next week.
Iconic comedian Chris Rock is on his way to Australia, with his first new standup show in close to a decade. The comic will visit Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in June as part of The Total Blackout Tour 2017, which is currently touring the United States to rave reviews.
The show will cover everything from racism and police brutality to Rock’s own failings as a husband, with the comedian opening up about his recent infidelity and subsequent divorce. Naturally, he’ll also spend a fair amount of time on Trump. Critics have called it “vital” and “the best set of Rock’s career“.
The show is also being filmed for the comedian’s new Netflix special, which is due to hit the streaming service later in the year.
Tickets to Rock’s Australian tour go on sale through Ticketek at midday on Friday March 24.
