In yet another example of why we can’t have nice things, pissy manbabies are targeting Captain Marvel with negative reviews on Rotten Tomatoes because Marvel Studios had the gall to make a movie about a superhero who is also a woman.

The audience review section of the Captain Marvel Rotten Tomatoes page has been flooded with negative, often badly misspelled comments, from users who are oUtRaGeD at the movie and its star Brie Larson, who recently spoke out about diversity in the film industry, noting that most critics appear to be “overwhelmingly” white and male.

Of course, Captain Marvel doesn’t hit cinemas for another couple of weeks, so it’s not like any of these trolls have actually seen the movie. Nor are they actually critics, so much as urine-soaked keyboard warriors. But that certainly hasn’t stopped them from lashing out at the world and the mothers who never loved them.

“Not interested in supporting Brie Larson’s agenda,” wrote one idiot with too much time on his hands.

“Tired of all this SJW nonsense,” exclaimed another, before presumably taking a big poopy in his adult diaper.

The whiny backlash mirrors the pre-release reaction to Black Panther and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, both of which were targeted by pathetic weirdos on the internet and then bombed spectacularly at the box office. Oh wait, no, they both made over $1.3 billion. My bad.

By the way, critics who have actually seen Captain Marvel have been posting their early reactions on social media. And spoilers: they loved it.

Captain Marvel hits cinemas in Australia on March 7. See it and make an MRA sad.
