Billie Eilish, Kid Cudi, And H.E.R. Are Teaming Up For A Massive Online Gig Series
And Billie's set to debut new music from her upcoming album...
Billie Eilish is on top of the world.
The young musician is only a few short months away from releasing Happier Than Ever, her highly acclaimed new album, and to celebrate, she’s teamed up with two of the most groundbreaking artists currently working for a brand new TV event.
Called The Prime Day Show, the three-day long celebration of new music will also feature performances by Kid Cudi and H.E.R. Each artist will get their very own ‘day’, in which they’ll perform their music in scenic locales.
Eilish’s ‘day’, the first, will see the young performer take on hits from Happier Than Ever in the luxurious surrounds of a Parisian neighbourhood. H.E.R.’s ‘day’, by contrast, will take place in the fabled confines of the Dunbar Hotel, known for hosting such musicians as Billie Holliday and Duke Ellington. And finally, for the third ‘day’, Kid Cudi will take viewers to outer space, playing hits from his record Man on the Moon III with the help of the International Space Orchestra.
As might already be clear from those descriptions, each day will have its own very distinct vibe, but the performances will be united by the sheer talent on display.
The Prime Day Show will be available to stream for all those with an Amazon Prime subscription. The event will begin on June 17, and will be available to view on Amazon Prime for 30 days. No teasers have so far been released, so audiences will be going into the thing without preconceptions. Sounds great to me.
