Know Someone Incredible? Nominate Them For 2019 Young Australian Of The Year

All it takes is a single nomination for someone to be in the running.

Young Australian of the Year
Brought to you by Australian Of The Year Awards

Be great and nominate an amazing young Australian for the 2019 Australian of the Year Awards.

Whether or not we know them personally, we all know someone who’s inspired us through their dedication to community, research, charity, the arts, sport and everything in between. The amazing work of young is totally deserving of recognition and support.

So, why not nominate them for Young Australian of the Year and give them the appreciation and platform they’ve earned?

The Young Australian of The Year award isn’t just a title – it’s also an opportunity for recipients to get the word out about their work and use the platform to inspire more people. You can nominate anyone you think is worthy of the award, be it a friend, family member, community leader, colleague, or even someone you don’t know personally – they just need to be Australian citizen and between 16 and 30 years old.

Nominations close on July 31 this year, so get thinking about young Aussies who are making a positive impact, changing lives and Australian society for the better, and whose personal journey is something worth honouring. After making your nomination, candidates are reviewed by an independent selection panel made up of representatives from the community, local Australia Day Council representatives in every state, the National Australia Day Council, and award sponsors.

All it takes is a single nomination for someone to be in the running, so now is the time to speak up and give this opportunity to the amazing young Australians that surround us all.

Every year, the Australian of the Year Awards celebrate Australians worthy of recognition. Know somebody who fits the bill? Be great and nominate them for the 2019 Australian of the Year Awards here.
