Listen, I’m very excited about the Wonder Woman sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, because I respect big swings, and just randomly setting it in maybe the best year of the eighties is definitely iconic.
I’m also extremely excited because Kristen Wiig plays the villain. I love Kristen Wiig. I am very excited about this.
At some point she says “I want to be an apex predator” and that’s all I really need for character motivation tbh.
This film was meant to come out this year, but has been delayed because of a certain global pandemic, which I don’t want to encourage with any more free press, so let’s simply call it Bovid Bineteen.
Hopefully we’ll all be back in cinemas soon, shoving our virus-free faces with popcorn, hooting inanely, and enjoying the neon pleasures of Wonder Woman 1984. Until then, let us enjoy the second full-length trailer.
