“We do not need to wait for a Christchurch-like massacre in Sydney to designate these movements as terrorist organisations."

A white supremacist group has started trying to recruit people in Bondi Beach via letterbox drop, claiming that “white Australians” are under threat of racial extinction.

According to the Anti-Defamation Commission, flyers containing neo-Nazi rhetoric and a QR code to scan “if white” were allegedly dropped in letterboxes on Rickard Avenue in Bondi Beach last week.

“We have great things planned to secure our future in this land. In the meantime we cannot achieve any of our goals without you,” the flyer read.

“Get yourself involved and join your local network. Be prepared to train, get outdoors and sacrifice some of your personal time for a higher purpose. Blood and honour.”

In addition to the threatening and deeply disturbing message, the group also attached a QR code linking a website for another white supremacist group which promises to “secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.” The founder of this group has previously been arrested by counter-terrorism police on multiple occasions.

The chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission Dr Dvir Abramovich told News.com.au that “there is a direct link between radicalisation and lethal attacks”.

“We do not need to wait for a Christchurch-like massacre in Sydney to designate these movements as terrorist organisations,” he said.

The group that reportedly distributed the flyers, which Junkee has elected not to name, has a significant following on Telegram — in which it spreads further white supremacist and anti-semitic hate speech.

A quick scroll through the group’s Telegram shows hundreds of messages discussing the “struggle” of the “Aryan Australian”, images of people performing a Nazi salute, swastikas and a plethora of other racist and anti-semitic hate speech that is not fit for publication.

The Telegram group is also littered with ludicrous conspiracy theories regarding state and federal governments, as well as images of the men participating in physical “training” rituals.

The distribution of flyers in Bondi comes after flyers linking to the same organisation were found in letterboxes in Adelaide back in June.
