If you’re wondering why you’re seeing so many trailers for new TV shows at the moment, it’s because of Upfronts Week in the States — when the networks line up in front of advertisers, offer up their dance cards, and bat their lashes hopefully.

One that’s generating a bunch of buzz is for Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D, the Avengers spin-off that was picked up by America’s ABC. Yesterday brought with it a teaser trailer for the show, just to whet your appetite for today’s main-ish course. (via Indiewire)

Someone Stole $330k From Justin Bieber:

On Sunday night in Johannesburg, just hours after the final date on this leg of Justin Bieber’s gaffe-filled tour (we’re talking the outfits, the monkey, the spitting, Anne Frank, the whole bit), what looks to be a small group of criminals pulled off “a carefully planned, sophisticated heist” at the FNB Stadium in Soweto, running off with the night’s earnings — which TMZ is estimating at $330,000. Which, can we all just take a step back and consider that figure, please?

Lolz. According to South Africa’s Eye Witness News, the suspects had been chiselling away at the double-thick walls in the safe room for several days, before using rope to lower themselves through the hole down a three-metre drop, Oceans 11 style. They appear to have left him some coins, a Blackberry, and a bottle of water.

Solange vs Kendrick Lamar:

Everybody’s second favourite adult member of the Knowles family, Solange, has announced she’s starting her own imprint. Saint Records will be distributed through Sony, and will release Solange’s next full-length later this year –a follow-up to her 2012 breakout EP True, which came out through Terrible Records, run by Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor.

To celebrate the announcement, here’s a brand new version of ‘Looks Good With Trouble’, now with added Lamar.

Written and directed by Richard Curtis (Love Actually), About Time stars Bill Nighy as the character he always plays but this time he can time travel, and his son, Domhnall Gleeson — aka Bill Weasley from Harry Potter, or, for those who crave more legitimate references, Ash in a particularly creepy episode of Black Mirror.

The film is about Gleeson learning he can time travel, and using said ability to win the heart of one Rachel ‘I <3 Time Travelers’ McAdams. (Seriously though – Midnight In Paris, The Time Traveller’s Wife, and now this?)
