Around a month ago, we posted a recap of the almost completely perfect West Wing cast reunion that took place online, after Alison Janney — aka President Bartlet’s press secretary, CJ Cregg — finally learnt how to use Twitter.

While we watched Richard Schiff (Toby Zeigler), Joshua Malina (Will Bailey) and Dulé Hill (Charlie Young) playfully tease each other and then arrange a catch-up, another Tweet popped up — from the actual press secretary of the actual President of the actual USA.

Of course no one took it seriously; lightning never strikes twice, right? It would be too much to imagine Alison Janney revisiting a 2007 moment that West Wing fans would talk about forever: CJ’s season one, episode eighteen performance of Ronny Jordan’s ‘The Jackal’ — which, as legend goes, was scripted after Aaron Sorkin walked in on her lip-syncing to the track in her trailer.

But yesterday, she sent out this Tweet.

And last night, on the recently rebooted Arsenio Hall Show, in front of an audience that seemed to have no idea what was going on, this happened.

Am I wrong in saying that as a 57-year-old woman, Janney is somehow even more smokin’ than she was in the original?
