SNL‘s 40th anniversary special is on at the moment, bringing back some of the long-running series’ best characters, players and running gags for another go-round. One of the most beloved sketches, Celebrity Jeopardy! with Will Ferrell as hapless straight-man host Alex Trebek, was so successful it ran for six years when Ferrell was a cast member, and they’ve brought it back to life with some of the best celebrity impressions SNL‘s seen since, including Kate McKinnon’s impeccable Justin Bieber and Jim Carrey’s stellar Matthew McConaughey.
This is the first time in almost five years the sketch has last been visited, and Tom Hanks played himself. It was great.
