Earlier this year, we all got our first glimpse of the brilliantly-titled They Came Together, writer/director/comedy legend David Wain’s (Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models) upcoming romantic comedy spoof starring our all-time best friends, Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler.
“Holy shit, this is gonna be our favourite movie of the year,” we all said at the time, even though all we had to base our opinion on was a one-minute scene and a few adorably goofy stills. Well, judging by today’s newly-unveiled full-length trailer, we were right then and we’re still right. Congratulations everybody, we’re all right!
Everything about that just made me piss my pants endlessly. The film’s yet to receive a local release date, but it’ll be dropping via VOD overseas on June 27, so I’m sure we’ll all manage to get our hands on it somehow, even if it means murder or prison time.
