Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman are in Sydney today as part of their world tour to schlep the upcoming premiere of Doctor Who Series Eight on August 24; last night, Capaldi appeared onstage at the State Theatre and was showered in adulation by hordes of lovable nerds.
Capaldi is the thirteenth guy to play the Doctor since the show began in 1963, with each actor bringing their own distinctive style to the role. YouTuber Dave Clipson has painstakingly mashed together each of their faces to try and find the Doctor’s “average” face, and shit gets weird and terrifying along the way. Look at this demonic bastard.
