Watch The Incredible Trailer For Melissa McCarthy’s ‘Tammy’
Yup, looks like a Melissa McCarthy movie.
Sometimes the world seems like a pretty terrible place, until you remember that Melissa McCarthy exists. Her new movie, Tammy, comes out this year, and overnight we were treated to its first trailer.
I’ve watched it three times already this morning, and now you can too.
“Is this a sequel to all those other movies where Melissa McCarthy plays a gross, unkempt sociopath?” you might well ask.
And you would be wrong, because the answer is no. No, it is not. Now shut up.
Directed by Ben Falcone and co-written by McCarthy, Tammy is about a woman who sets off on a cross-country road trip after her life falls apart. At some point, I’m guessing, she gets sassy and robs a greasy fast food joint while wearing a greasy fast food bag on her head.
Yep, it’s definitely shaping up to be a Melissa McCarthy movie.
Tammy is out July 2 in the US.
