Watch Laura Palmer Spookily Foretell The Reboot Of Twin Peaks: “I’ll See You Again In 25 Years”
She says it with the sound recorded backwards and reversed, just in case the whole thing wasn't creepy enough.
Earlier this week, it was announced via a few tweets and a promo clip that David Lynch and Mark Frost’s cult classic Twin Peaks would be returning to screens in 2016, for a limited, nine-episode season on Showtime.
Dear Twitter Friends… it is happening again. http://t.co/r0l9rhK4eB #damngoodcoffee

Reactions to the news range from delight to cynicism — but based on this scene from the show’s June 1991 finale, the beginning of which was included in the teaser, no one should be surprised.
Interpreted by many as an allusion to Dale Cooper’s dream sequence in season one’s ‘Zen or Skills to Catch a Killer’ — in which he has a vision of their meeting “25 years later”, despite the meeting having taken place three weeks before he entered the Black Lodge — Laura Palmer’s “I’ll see you again in 25 years” now takes on a whole new meaning.

As the log lady says, “There are clues everywhere. All around us. But the puzzle-maker is clever.”
So, June 2016. See you then.
