Justin Bieber is in Australia at the moment for a national tour that has, so far, received lukewarm reviews. In classic ‘good-boy turned bad-boy turned good-boy again but still with a bit of attitude’ Bieber style he flipped off the media last night when he was winding down at Richard Branson’s resort on Makepeace Island.

When Channel Seven asked Bieber for a hello, the artist gave the cameraman the finger and said “Fuck you.”

Fair enough, maybe he hates the latest season of My Kitchen Rules.

Today Bieber doubled down on the incident, posting the clip from Seven on Instagram… along with an extended impersonation of Chris Lilley’s character Jonah Takalua from Summer Heights High.

Yep, turns out Bieber is a Summer Heights High fan.

“I said ‘Puck you’ miss!'”, Bieber explains, quoting Jonah’s excellent catchphrase.

Bieber went on to explain that he wasn’t bullying the cameraman, just joking around. While impersonating Jonah, off course. Just in case people don’t get the video, Bieber helpfully pointed out on Instgram that “If you don’t get the context its from an Australian TV show called Summer Heights High.”

In the video he even drops in a “ranga” joke, before chucking in a few more Jonah favourites.

It is completely wild to me that Justin Bieber is a fan of an ABC comedy show and that his Jonah impression is actually pretty bloody good.

SORRY BEN – If you don’t get the context its from an Australian TV show called “Summer Heights High”.
