Watch A Totally Legitimate President Obama Visit Kings Cross To Support The ‘Reclaim The Streets’ Initiative

Ahead of today’s protests against Sydney’s CBD lockout laws in Hyde Park, US President Barack Obama visited Kings Cross last night to pledge his support for the Reclaim The Streets campaign — or so XStudio’s Ron Creevey will have you believe, in this very well-played parody video.
“Obama”, flanked by “body guards” and “paparazzi”, walked through the once-bustling nightlife hub with Creevey, discussing the strict laws which have devastated local businesses and pushed punters out of the city — and even stopped for a short “press conference” by the memorial fountain.
The actor is pretty dead-on — from the deep, powerful voice and eloquent speech, right down to the weird thing Obama does with his bottom lip/chin sometimes — and actually has a few innocent bystanders going.
