Warner Bros Wants To Make A ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ Movie Trilogy, Because Of Course
SURPRISE!
You knew this was coming. You knew from the moment that it was announced that J.K. Rowling was collaborating on a play about grown-up Harry Potter. You knew from the moment that the script for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was published as a book.
Well, here we are: Warner Bros. — those lovers of turning one book into several films — have said that they want to make Cursed Child into a film trilogy, and they want Daniel Radcliffe to come back for the ride. That didn’t take long!
Hype, Anger And A Whole Lot Of Love: We Need To Talk About ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’
Cursed Child received mixed reviews initially (as a huge Potter fan, I liked it, and didn’t feel like it took anything away from the original books) but it’s not at all surprising that there were plans in the works for it to be made into a film. What is surprising is the news that it might be made into three films starring Radcliffe, who would probably look comical being aged up to look like a world-weary father of three.
If #HarryPotterAndTheCursedChild gets made into a trilogy will this be the dark ages of HP?

If these films did happen, they would apparently come out as early as 2020. Stay tuned, fans!
