Here’s The ‘You Belong With Me’ And ‘WAP’ Mash-Up You Didn’t Know You Needed

There are a lot of ‘WAP’ mash-ups out there, from Nickelback and Ben Shapiro to one of Super Mario 64‘s more calming tracks. But they’ve been blown out of the water by the sheer power and magnitude of combining the Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion tune with one of Taylor Swift’s earliest hits, ‘You Belong With Me’.
TikTok user Niamh Adkins mashed up the two songs for a truly inspired lip-sync, where she cosplays as Swift in the 2009 track’s music video, where she plays an adorkable girl next door.
It’s all stock-standard stuff until the chorus comes in, where Adkins has overlaid the ‘WAP’ chorus vocals over the Swift track — suitably, the choreography changes. A lot.
The video was deleted by TikTok, prompting Adkins to repost it on Instagram, where it eventually found Cardi’s attention.
“I ain’t saw that coming”, she wrote when sharing the video on Twitter, which sums it up.
