Passengers on United Airlines flight UA1175 have shared jawdropping images from their plane, which was forced to make an emergency landing after its engine started to fall off.

I’m no engineer, but that does not seem ideal.
The pilots quickly sent out a distress call before making an emergency landing. No one on board was hurt. In fact, based on Twitter, it seems like they were pretty chill about it.

From all reports, the pilots and crew did an excellent job of communicating with passengers and keeping things (relatively) calm.
Still, doesn’t exactly sound like a fun start to a Hawaiian vacation.
