Homegrown hero Troye Sivan is currently in the middle of a promotional whirlwind for his highly anticipated new album Bloom, which drops late next month.

But in between joining Taylor Swift on her Reputation tour stop in Los Angeles, and suffering through an incredibly awkward interview on The Project, he still somehow found time to drop by Spotify’s New York studios to give a couple of his tracks an acoustic makeover.

He performed his bottoming ode ‘Bloom’ first, and then unexpectedly delivered an eerie cover of Post Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys chart-crusher, ‘Better Now’.

Reworking the pop-rap track into a minimalist indie cover might sound like a strange choice on paper…but Troye makes it work. Get around it below.

Sivan’s next move will be releasing a video for his and Ariana Grande’s shithot collaboration ‘Dance To This’, which landed last month. Apart from all the music endeavours, he’s also starring in the film Boy Erased — alongside Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe, and Lucas Hedges — which will be landing in cinemas this November.

We get it Troye, you’re busy.
