Triple J want you to join the ranks of Lady Gaga, Mark Hoppus and JPEGMafia by giving you the opportunity to become a trusted collaborator of some of Australia’s best musicians, such as Kevin Parker, Amy Shark and Flume.

For their #DIYSupergroup competition, triple J asked some of its high-rotation artists to record samples and loops for a sample pack to play with.

You’ll have the likes of Flume’s synths, G-Flip‘s drumming skills and Tame Impala’‘s psychedelic guitar loops to create something completely new with. Other acts that have contributed to the sample pack include Tkay Maidza, Middle Kids and Jungle Giants.

As per the competition, triple J Unearthed want you to use sounds from at least three different artists, and then upload it to Unearthed by Midnight AEST May 17, using the #DIYSupergroup.

The finalists will be announced on Breakfast with Sally & Erica, and the winner will enter rotation across triple J and Unearthed — not bad to have a Flume contribution to your first radio single.

Find the sample pack and full t&cs over on triple j. Good luck.
