Travis Scott Deactivated Instagram After Everyone Roasted His Halloween Costume
"The roast was too real for Travis Scott."
Travis Scott has deactivated his Instagram account after posting a picture of himself dressed as Batman for Halloween.
The costume isn’t the best, but it’s not the worst. Still, given Scott is one of the world’s biggest rappers, fans expected a top-notch outfit, and poked fun of the costume’s brown colour. It all seemed very intentional, too, given he posed next to two brown cars.
Unfortunately, the internet universally decided he looked more like a cockroach than Batman, and the roasting began.

A fan account reposted Scott’s original Instagrams, which included videos where he cosplays as Bruce Wayne in a brown suit, overlooking his brown Batman suit.
To be fair, the deactivation could be unrelated, though the timing suggests they’re linked.
The real story is that Scott attended Kendall Jenner’s 100 person Halloween party, which had a strict ‘no posting’ policy so that the attendees wouldn’t be criticised for partying while the US’s COVID-19 cases reached a peak of 100,000+ diagnoses in a single day.
Kylie Jenner, of course, couldn’t help but post anyway, and via her Instagram stories we saw the likes of Doja Cat, Winnie Harlow, Justin Bieber and The Weeknd ignoring social distancing guidelines. Apparently, all guests took a rapid COVID-19 test before the event. If there is a lesson to be learned, it simply to never post.
In other Travis Scott news, back in August the rapper teased a new album called Utopia, and has since promised a full album with Kid Cudi, after the two released a track called ‘The Scotts’ together.
Most recently, Scott released a track ‘The Plan’ with the release of Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, and collaborated with McDonald’s to create a ‘custom’ meal in the US.
