Tony Abbott Hates Solar Panels Because His Mum Had Sex With One, According To ABC’s ‘The Roast’

Today in “sentences I’m getting increasingly used to writing”, last night’s episode of The Roast on the ABC aired a cartoon sketch featuring Tony Abbott as a kid catching his mum in the act of having sex with a solar panel. In the skit, little Tone started life as a tree-loving hippy kid until he walked in on his mum and a solar panel-father figure pastiche doin’ the dirty, and that’s why he’s trying so hard to get rid of the Renewable Energy Target.

It sure is…something.

I like how the solar panel has a little glass of scotch.

This is probably going to get the same kind of reaction the Chaser’s skit on Chris Kenny having sex with a dog did; namely, that the ABC is using public money to run a smear campaign against its enemies, blah blah blah. Tony Abbott probably won’t sue the ABC, but he won’t need to; the outraged “think”pieces in The Australian and the Herald-Sun are probably already on their way.
