People Are Claiming TikTok Users And K-Pop Stans Just Pulled Off A Huge Troll On Donald Trump
"it's wild how hard the tiktok zoomers owned the trump campaign."
The Trump administration said 1 million people had RSVP’d for their rally in Oklahoma, and with less than 19 000 showing up, people are attributing the result to a troll by TikTok users and K-Pop stans.
Before Saturday’s rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Donald Trump and his campaign predicted that 1 million people would attend, based on RSVP numbers.
Almost One Million people request tickets for the Saturday Night Rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma!

Just passed 800,000 tickets. Biggest data haul and rally signup of all time by 10x.

In reality, it seemed clear that not even enough people turned up to fill the 19 000 seat stadium.
The Trump campaign said recently that over one million tickets were requested for the Tulsa rally, the first rally in months due to covid-19.
Trump proclaimed that there wouldn’t be an empty seat.

What is also clear is that there was seemingly a concerted push by TikTok users, KPop stans, and Gen Z in general, to sign up and reserve tickets for the event with the clear intent of not going.
Mary Jo Laupp, a grandma who worked on Buttigieg’s campaign, seems to be the one who first encouraged TikTok users to troll Trump's campaign.
In this video, now seen by over two million people, she urges users to reserve tickets they won’t use for today’s #Tulsa rally. pic.twitter.com/AaCJsFBnSX

Laupp’s video seemingly inspired people to book tickets, with other users uploading videos showing they’d followed through. There was also allegedly an organised push by K-Pop stans to book tickets as well, using their power for good.
Trump getting trolled by kPop stans is the plot twist that the 2020 writer’s room came up with just to demonstrate that not ALL their ideas are bad.

Trump getting rolled by the k-pop stans is delicious and hilarious. The kids do not give a single fuck. They just wanna do their thing for Black lives.

It’s hard to say exactly what impact the trolling had, but many people believe it definitely helped in ruining Trump’s day.
the trump rally is literally empty, it's wild how hard the tiktok zoomers owned the trump campaign.

This is what happened tonight. I’m dead serious when I say this. The teens of America have struck a savage blow against @realDonaldTrump. All across America teens ordered tickets to this event. The fools on the campaign bragged about a million tickets. lol. @ProjectLincoln.

Boomers: You lousy Zoomers can’t do anything
Millennials: You’re just TikTok and even more crushing financial dislocation
Gen X: Show em what you got, kids
Zoomers: (weaponize K-Pop stans to destroy a Trump rally)
Gen X: I love my kids— Dylan Wilbanks, Social Distancing Human Grumpy Cat (@dylanw) June 21, 2020
Trump’s campaign manager tried to blame the lack of attendance on the media and ‘radical protestors’, but this was shot down in a Tweet by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who gave full credit to the teens.
Actually you just got ROCKED by teens on TikTok who flooded the Trump campaign w/ fake ticket reservations & tricked you into believing a million people wanted your white supremacist open mic enough to pack an arena during COVID
Shout out to Zoomers. Y’all make me so proud. ☺️ https://t.co/jGrp5bSZ9T

Seeing the youth cleverly dragging other generations on TikTok, and harnessing their power for good, does more than give us a laugh at the President and his supporters – it gives a glimmer of hope that things can change for the better.
LOSING MY MIND w delight & rubbing my hands together as I maniacally laugh & imagine the TikTok teens booking all those Trump rally tickets. They watched him brag about a million people wanting tix & sat quietly, playing the long game, knowing a day of reckoning would soon come

To all of the amazing TikTok Zoomers and KPop stans who amazingly trolled Trump by reserving almost 1 million tickets to his #TulsaRally, many of you may be too young to vote, but you can make a huge impact in the 2020 election. Please continue your social influence.
