This ’80s Cop Show-Themed ‘Simpsons’ Couch Gag Is Deeply Bizarre And Great

Putting aside the fact that most Simpsons parody or mashup videos are now usually far better than the last twelve seasons of the actual show, this highly weird, VHS-style, ’80s cop show parody is pretty good in its own right.

Homer stars as “LA-Z Rider”, and is almost as buff as regular Ned Flanders, whose spin-off version appears to feature as some sort of sexy drug ringleader. Lisa and Bart are cool boombox-welding youths. Marge is disturbingly attractive for a cartoon. Everything is confusing and perfect.
