This Is What The Game Of Thrones Theme Song Sounds Like Coming Out Of A University Bell Tower
The internet's never gonna stop doing these kinda things, is it?
Just last week, we ran a pretty fascinating article about the musical legacy of Games Of Thrones. Well, here’s a new addition.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the familiar tune echoed over the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison over the weekend, expertly performed on “56 bells ranging in size from 15 to 6,823 pounds” by one Lyle Anderson, the school’s veteran ‘carillonneur’ (we had no idea there was a professional word for ‘bell-ringer’).
So anyway, there you go, Game Of Thrones fans. What next, a cat meowing the entire tune? Oh wait.
Sigh, the internet.
