On June 15, Perth’s Rosemount Hotel hosted an eclectic, energetic night which saw a one-of-a-kind marriage of music and art; LA-via-Melbourne-via-Adelaide rapper Allday came together with renowned artists Toby & Pete to create a uniquely collaborative audiovisual evening of live performance, all thanks to Roam.

Just months after the release of his long-awaited album Speeding, Allday, aka Tom Gaynor, took to the stage to greet a raucous audience who could barely contain their excitement to catch the 26-year-old in the flesh. Known for his vibrant, engaging live performances, the music was enhanced even more so by Toby & Pete’s improvisational live art, using portrait photos of crowd members to create captivating art on the spot.

It was an unforgettable, high-energy night of music and art intertwining in creative, boundary-pushing ways, challenging the audience to really think about their surrounds and the coming together of music, visual arts, performer and audience.
