The fake trailer, by Funny Or Die. Sorry. It seems quite accurate, though.

Earlier this year, the internet went wild with the news that Sofia Coppola’s next movie would be an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairytale, The Little Mermaid. “Can’t wait for that Phoenix remix of Sebastian’s ‘Under The Sea’!”, said pretty much everyone, in a chorus of universal hilarity. Months later, the jokes are still coming.

The people at Funny Or Die have just put together a fake trailer for the film, featuring actual Hollywood people AnnaSophia Robb (The Carrie Diaries) and Evan Peters (Kick-Ass; X-Men: Days Of Future Past), who have now probably shat on any chance of ever scoring a job in any future Coppola movie. The Coppolas are Italian; they don’t forget.

Still, it seems pretty accurate; all it’s missing is a Jason Schwartzman cameo as Flounder.
