In an interview with New Jersey online publication NJ.com about her upcoming move Third Person, Mila Kunis spent a solid 25 minutes either refusing to answer basic questions like “how are you?” or responding with some version of “that’s very interesting, but go fuck yourself”. Instead of trawling through the wreckage of the recording to somehow write up something decent, journalist Stephen Whitty did what every interviewer has dreamed of doing and wrote a whole thing on how awfully the interview went.

Here are the highlights, along with a bunch of GIFs of Mila Kunis being scathing that were scarily easy to find.

On How She’s Feeling:

“I don’t talk about that for publication.”

On Moving From The Ukraine To America As A Child:

“I’ve talked about me moving to America in a hundred interviews…it’s the most mundane subject possible, it’s like everyone’s immigrant story. It was much harder for my 13-year-old brother, it was much harder for my parents.”

On The Situation In The Ukr-

“I know what your next question is so let’s just skip it. You’re going to ask me what I think about what’s going on now in Ukraine. Just because I lived there until I was seven doesn’t mean I identify with Ukraine.”

On Starting Acting At Nine Years Old:

“Honestly asking a nine-year-old why, who knows? It was just a fun thing to do. Other kids take karate, art, gymnastics and I happened to take acting classes, it was just fun. There was nothing else to it. I don’t know if that’s the answer you’re fishing for.”

On Moving From Comedy To More Challenging Performances In Drama Roles:

“I hate when people ask me this question. People have this misconception that comedy’s easy.”

On The Interview:

“It was a good interview!”

OKAY THEN MILA, DON’T HURT ME PLEASE, BYE.
