‘The Masked Singer Australia’ Has Been Shut Down Due To A COVID-19 Outbreak
Seven dancers on the show have tested positive to COVID-19.
Production on hit reality TV show The Masked Singer Australia has been abruptly shut down, after seven dancers on the show tested positive to COVID-19.
An exclusive from The Herald Sun has reported that a dancer complained of symptoms on Friday, was sent home, and later tested. It was then discovered that seven members of the team were all positive for COVID-19.
In the wake of the outbreak, all judges and stars have been told to self-isolate immediately, and under the advice of the Department of Health and Human Services, the studio in Melbourne’s Docklands has been shut down for cleaning.
Judges and stars on the show include host Osher Gunsberg, Danni Minogue, Dave Hughes, Jackie O, and Urzila Carlson.
The show has confirmed that the masked performers will be required to isolate for 14 days.
We will keep updating once we discover how this impacts the rest of this season of the show.
