The next season of The Bachelor kicks off on Wednesday, and we now know exactly who will be competing for Nick “The Honey Badger” Cummins’ love.

“I’m really looking forward to throwing everything at this opportunity to finding the one,” Cummins said. “The past 10 or so years has been on the road playing rugby or working on my projects, so I’m very excited to be part of a show that is centred around love and good times.”

Here’s who will appear alongside Cummins on this season of The Bachelor.

Aleksandra, 31, Yoga Teacher, VIC

She likes hiking, is great at massages and knows she is a catch. Aleksandra is a yoga teacher and heath clinic coordinator who’s looking for an adventurous, thoughtful, tall and loving man.

Alisha, 25, Political Adviser, ACT

Alisha just wants a guy that can be her best friend. Her biggest red flag? If a man disrespects their mother. This passionate political adviser likes a lazy Sunday, a drink or two, and a dog or two (she sees herself in ten years time as the proud mother of both a French bulldog and an Italian greyhound).

Ashlea, 30, Property Consultant, QLD

Ashlea was sick of trying to get to meet guys who would approach her at a bar or find her on social media, so she put herself out of comfort zone and signed up for The Bachelor. Her dream date is a picnic with a wine and cheese platter, and she’s looking for a man who will love and accept both her and her son.

Autumn, 29, Digital Designer, VIC

She once went on a date with a guy that didn’t stop talking about himself — and then he didn’t even pay for dinner! After experiences like that, Autumn wants a partner that is honest, passionate, and is a bit of an old soul.

Blair, 27, PE Teacher, QLD

She’s sassy. She’s quick-witted. And she’s sarcastic. Tara — I mean, Blair — is a primary school PE teacher who loves to laugh and is looking for a tall, tanned man with some muscle. She apparently also has a really high belly button that is a bit creepy.

Brittany, 30, Radiographer, NSW

Brittany likes the beach, likes to travel, and likes to love: she’s a down-to-earth romantic that’s ready to find someone to settle down with. If she hd to describe herself in five words, they would be generous, adventurous, ambitious, funny and optimistic.

Brooke, 23, Youth Worker, WA

Brooke is a proud indigenous woman who cares about indigenous mental health. She wants a partner who is passionate, confident and loves sport. The first two words she would use to describe herself are “sporty” and “fitness-fanatic”. She also loves the beach. Everyone loves the beach.

Cass, 23, Student, NSW

Cass is a former Miss World finalist who also likes sport and the beach. She hates rudeness. Loves animals. Hates negativity. Loves surfing. Is scared of dating. Loves riding horses.

Cat, 24, Fashion Designer, Bali

She’s vivacious, witty, caring, quirky and adventurous. She’s hoping for a man that has good hygiene, a bit of ambition, and a lot of humour. Her dream date? A romantic picnic with a good glass of red.

Cayla, 27, Energy Healer, QLD

Cayla wants an old fashioned man. She’s sick of all those modern guys who aren’t good at dating. Cayla’s got a strong spiritual side and meditates every day.

Nicknamed “Bambi” by her friends because of her height, Kayla is an awkward, funny woman who wants a tall man. Her dream date involves a cosy drive-in movie.

Renee is fun, tall, caring, cheeky and affectionate. And she couldn’t date a vegan. “I respect the choice,” she said of vegans, “but sometimes you have just got to eat something that had parents.” Um.

Rhiannon, 28, Sales Representative, QLD

Rhiannon is a playful sales representative with a dry sense of humour. And she worries that she’s been single for a while because it takes her a long time to open up: “I’ve been extremely pick and don’t want to waste anyone’s time or my own unless I am sure they are a good fit for me.”

Romy, 29, Photoshoot Director, QLD

This impulsive photoshoot director describes herself as a sharp-tongued bogan. She once crashed her car into the car of the bloke she was out on a date with. And her deal breakers? Bad manners and ego.

Shannon, 25, Car Care Consultant, VIC

She’s weird, wonderful and passionately happy. Shannon feels as though she hasn’t genuinely connected with someone for a while, and is looking for a man who is passionate, driven, and can fill her with laughs.

Sophie, 25, Property Valuer, QLD

She’s got everything: a good family, a career, a healthy list of hobbies. The only thing she’s missing is the man of her dreams, who she describes as “tall, fun and handsome (on the inside and outside)”. Will The Honey Badger be the one?

Steph is a real joker. When asked why she applied for the show, she said “because competing with girls who all have modelling experience for one guy is easier than modern dating.” Her perfect partner needs to love potatoes. And she says she’s been proposed to a few times before, but that “every time they get down on one knee they see my double chins.” I love her.

Susie, 30, Account Manager, WA

She’s straight forward and sporty. Susie wants to find true love and she wants a partner that is caring, honest, passionate about life and outdoorsy. No mention of potatoes or double chins in her profile.

Tenille, 25, Flight Attendant, QLD

Tenille hasn’t found her Prince Charming yet. She says it’s because she hasn’t put herself out there enough to find a partner. Her deal breakers? If the guy lies, cheats, is rude, has a big ego, or is unable to apologise.

Urszula, 34, Creative Director, VIC

She describes herself as a hunter on the dating scene. Polish national Urszula is really for a real, old school man with integrity. She doesn’t want someone who acts like a little boy.

Vanessa, 27, Legal Secretary, VIC

Vanessa’s motto is “revenge is sweet”. Interestingly, if you scramble the letters of “revenge is sweet”, you can spell out the phrase “Vanessa will be this season’s antagonist, and will be used by the show’s producers to generate infighting and create a storyline for the show.” The five words she would use to describe herself are “strong, powerful, independent, with nice hair”.
