This new izakaya is only weeks old, but already has Sydney’s Japanese community buzzing. They’re probably going to be mad when the rest of Sydney realises what’s good; Crown Street is smelling sweeter than a plate of yams with extra serve.
Tips: There’s a solid range of share plates, but focus on the yakitori (chicken thigh, skin, giblets/hearts, pork belly, plus vegetable options). It’s not yet licensed, so take some beers or a pot of tea and go innnnnnnnnn.
