The Entire Kanye And Taylor Phone Call Has Just Been Leaked And Swifties Are Claiming Victory

Four years after Kim Kardashian released video of Kanye and Taylor discussing ‘Famous’ in order to prove Swift lied, a longer version of the call has just been leaked, and Swift fans are feeling vindicated. 

The world is going through upheaval currently, and it has sort of been feeling a bit like the end of the world. That’s why a new development in the Kanye West v Taylor Swift feud feels sort of calming right now. The world may be ending, but it seems this celebrity feud will never go away. If this story is hazy in your memory, there are plenty of recaps available, but I’ll give you a brief reminder.

In 2016 Kanye released the song ‘Famous,’ on which he raps the line “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous.” Swift’s team publicly reacted to the line, calling it misogynistic, and claimed she was unaware of the lyrics. That caused Kim Kardashian to release a secret recording of a call between Kanye and Taylor, where it seemed that Taylor had been told, and given her approval. At the time this caused everything to kick off, with Swift being branded a liar and a snake, and causing her to retreat for a chunk of time.

The full video, which has just been released, shows a bit more detail. Kanye does tell Swift about a bunch of the song, circling around for a bit before telling her the “controversial” line “I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex.” Swift, who beforehand was worried the lyric would be “mean”, sounds relieved, and later says “It doesn’t feel mean. But oh my God, the buildup you gave it, I thought it was going to be like, “That stupid, dumb bitch.” But it’s not.” In the new video, it does seem that Swift doesn’t get to hear the line where she is called a bitch, which is the part she later reacted most strongly to. Phew. Following?

Whatever your opinion on who is right or wrong in this ongoing saga, this new footage has definitely caused Taylor Swift fans to go absolutely off online. The hashtag #KanyeWestPartyIsOver trended, as fans (including celebrities) claimed vindication that Swift hadn’t lied.

And some people are just straight up going for Kanye and Kim.

But the best part of all of it, that even neutral observers can enjoy, is the people who claim that Kris Jenner leaked the call because coronavirus was getting all the attention.
