Tame Impala are going on tour this April for their biggest Australian shows yet.

Playing off the back of their heavily anticipated fourth album The Slow Rush, out Valentine’s Day, Kevin Parker and co. will head to stadiums across the antipodean to play shows in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Kevin Parker had previously teased the dates on Instagram last week.

Tame Impala last played Australia in July, headlining Splendour In The Grass after wowing the world with their psychedelic Coachella set.

In the announce, Parker says he’ll be donating $300,000 of the tour’s earnings towards bushfire relief.

“We’re still working through exactly where the dollars will go,” he wrote in a statement, “but I want to ensure that no charity in need during this time is overlooked and that our contribution is helpful for both human and wildlife victims, as well being used actively in climate change research and bushfire prevention.”

Joining the band on tour is Khruangbin, the Texan three-piece with an equally intense live show.

Find the dates below. Tickets are on sale Tuesday 28 January 10am local time from Ticketek, with the exception of Auckland, which will go on sale 12pm local time and be available from Ticketmaster. All shows are all ages.
