Six years after its debut, Stranger Things is well and truly back in the zeitgeist after the first part of Season 4 dropped earlier this month.

— Warning: Spoilers for Season 4 of Stranger Things lurk below —

The season came with a big reveal — at the end of the last episode, we discovered that the person who was helping Eleven escape the lab when she was a wee girl was actually Henry Creel, also known as 001: the lab’s first specimen.

We also saw Eleven fight against Henry and banish him to the Upside Down, where he eventually was revealed to be Vecna. Dun dun dun.

Social media users are already awash in speculation around how the season’s second volume will unfold, with theories including that Vecna sources his power from the trauma of his victims, that the key to defeating Vecna will be his inability to recall happy memories, and that it was Vecna who abducted Will in Season 1. Ah, the possibilities!

While there are only two episodes left, word has it that the final episode will run for a whopping two-and-a-half hours, and Netflix has finally offered fans a sneak peak of what is to come via a quick, 30-second teaser that can probably be summed up in one word: ominous.

Watch the teaser below.
