If there are three things that Game of Thrones legend Sophie Turner loves, they are: drinking red wine, spilling (and sipping) the tea, and being an absolute badass.

After all, who can forget her response to Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) losing her virginity, or her admirable committment to being the coolest version of herself both on and off the screen? Basically, Sophie Turner is who we imagine we are whenever we clap back at the haters. She’s the Patronus of every last human being on the planet — a testament to exactly where titanic levels of sass will get you.

Well, it turns out that Turner can’t even turn off the faucet when she’s on her honeymoon. Yep, the true Queen of the North might be relaxing with her long-time partner Joe Jonas, but she still has time to deliver her ruling on a spat between U.S. soccer player Alex Morgan and her haters.

See, Morgan and her compatriots recently beat the British team as part of the World Cup semi-final. While celebrating a goal, Morgan performed a little gesture that she later claimed was inspired by Turner — she sipped from an invisible tea cup, in a show of pride and aplomb.

But according to her critics, such a gesture was “disrespectful”, kicking off an entire row about double standards in sport.

Well, armed with a glass of red wine and the sheer power of Instagram stories, Turner has waded into the spat — and she reckons that Morgan is absolutely in the right.

“Alex Morgan … I’m honoured that you thought of me,” the actor said in an awe-inspiring Instagram live video. “And all the people hating on you are probably millennials at home drinking kombucha. And I’m really fucking proud of you Alex Morgan. Congratulations on your win. And that’s the motherfucking tea.”
