Please Enjoy Some Of Australia’s Greatest Musicians Performing A Joyous ‘Simpsons’ Medley
Putting the spring back in Springfield.
Some of Australia’s biggest musicians have teamed up to perform a medley of musical moments from The Simpsons, and it is absolutely cromulent.
The whole thing was organised by Perth musician Dan Cribb, who over the past two years has put together an album of covers of original songs from The Simpsons, featuring the likes of Guy Sebastian, Alex Lahey, Declan Melia (British India), Tyler Richardson (Luca Brasi) and more.
The record, titled Worst Tribute Ever, is available right now, and to celebrate Cribb has reunited with a bunch of his collaborators on a medley featuring some of the most iconic musical riffs in Simpsons history. There’s Montaigne singing about Max Power, Luke Gallagher rocking out to Eye on Springfield, and a whole heap of artists sending their love down the well.
“This project has evolved into more than I could have imagined,” says Cribb. “It seriously blows my mind how something so simple and fun became such a life-changing experience for me.”
“I’ve learnt that life is one crushing defeat after another until you just wish Flanders was dead,” he added.
