Adult Men Are Just Furious About The New ‘She-Ra’ Cartoon And It’s Hilariously Pathetic
"Anyone who’s mad about She-Ra is just mad somebody earnestly made a show for young girls that gross men can’t co-opt away from them."
Netflix and DreamWorks have rebooted the classic 80s cartoon She-Ra, and its target audience of children and fun-loving adults are enjoying the extremely sparkly and cool new cartoon, and nobody is ruining anything at all. End of story!
Oh wait, men are garbage.
The new She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was basically like one of those whistles that screeches at a frequency higher than humans can hear, so it therefore attracts dogs — except instead of dogs, it cajoled horrifying adult men to slither out from their mum’s basement and into the comments section.
She-Ra has always been a cartoon aimed entirely at girls — the original premise was that the people behind glorified toy-selling advertisement He-Man created the big muscly man a twin sister so that girls could also have something to watch.
But as well as continuing that original trend, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power has made the cardinal sin of being a team made entirely of women writers, on a cartoon aimed at girls. Terrible.
But once it launched, all the slimy dweeb’s worst suspicions have been confirmed. The cartoon is not only almost entirely dominated by female characters, but it’s also specifically empowering to women of different sizes and shapes, moves away from the giant-boobed armour of yore, and also has strong queer storylines. It sounds amazing.
So, naturally, men are angry!
Is it a girl, is it a boy? No it‘s another genderfluid checklist character. Those people in charge of the new she-ra realy must hate feminity. I saw not one character in this show that actually looks feminine. Yep thats „representation“ #sjwshera #sheboy pic.twitter.com/8tE6yp5nQE

Apart from being absolutely baffled by punctuation, this dude apparently hasn’t seen a woman with short hair? Unless he’s concerned about the lobster claws?
Whew….well I did it…I got thru Nu She-Ra. And it sucks. If I could describe this series in three words: dopey, inconsistent, and unappealing. The character designs for this show are god awful. She-Ra looks too much like a man. The images below are prime examples: pic.twitter.com/HiZmzfUBvG

Ah, I see what the problem is — She-Ra ‘looks like a man’. Action-hero She-Ra who can lift wagons and swordfight and do other hero things is unrealistically man because she has muscles?
It’s almost like none of these subterranean virgins has ever seen a woman before?
For those who are concerned about the audience score for She-Ra reboot, these are the same people who says She-Ra isn't sexy enough, that it's "brainwashing your children with SJW propaganda", and for being "calarts", all that kind of garbage. pic.twitter.com/3BsnTeqluJ

I absolutely loved The Dragon Prince, but the She-ra reboot is nothing but sjw crap.

So, as well as taking to Twitter, these rampant pissbabies are doing other classic things like trying to artificially tank the show’s Rotten Tomatoes score, which is an old trick, as used before by man-children angry over other shows, like Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
These guys sure are angry about their lil’ shows!
every single post about she-ra can fit into one of these categories:
1) women and lgbt people being excited
2)men with bad oppinions
3)vld fandom really stretching to make it about their show
4)anyone with more than three braincells making fun of categories 2 and 3— carpe diem (@ratthony) November 19, 2018

But mostly, everyone is uniting over how cool and positive the show is, and are just really excited that young women get amazing cartoon role models.
Nearing the end of #SheRa and feeling all warm and fuzzy like this new iteration of 80s reboots is all made by women my age who remember the originals but are like, “That was fun but you know what? We can do *better.*”

Honestly #SheRa has given me so much happiness and rep for being a gay girl and I just can't wait for the next season. Gonna keep rewatching it till it comes out! I love everything about it!

everyone in She-Ra is gay except for scorpion girl who is double gay pic.twitter.com/YSAiCRKWsX

Lol you can tell that the people complaining about She-ra never watched the original show because the thing that stood out to ME more than anything was that they made Bow black, but the Anti-Sjaydobbles never had the information to notice, so they're screaming about femininity. pic.twitter.com/IyVo4iCdgY

Sad nerds: "The new She-Ra is too GAY! It's a complete abomination compared to the original.

You don’t think any of the characters in She-Ra are attractive enough for you? Thank fucking god
