Shannon Noll Has Been Charged With Drug Possession
He is due to face court in October.
Singer Shannon Noll has been charged with drug possession after allegedly being found carrying a bag of white powder.
The former Australian Idol contestant was arrested on Thursday night at Caringbah Hotel in Sydney after a sniffer dog search.
A NSW police spokeswoman told news.com.au that “a 42-year-old man was arrested by police after allegedly being detected with white powder, believed to be cocaine”.
“The man was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 11 October 2018.”
Noll made headlines earlier this year after getting into an altercation with an audience member who through a beer can at him during a show in regional NSW. Noll responded by calling the man a “dog-arse prick” and a “private school stupid fucking motherfucker” and threatening to “fuck ya missus and ya mum”.
The singer also ran afoul of police last year after being arrested outside an Adelaide strip club following an altercation with security. He was charged with assault over the incident, but the charge was later dropped.
