Seth Rogen Slams Macklemore For Anti-Semitism, Bad Rapping
Macklemore rocked up to a surprise concert in Seattle dressed like this. Bad idea, Macklemore.
On Friday last week, Macklemore played a tiny surprise set at a museum in Seattle and, to avoid detection, he went in costume.
Which would have been fine. Except the costume he chose was very close to the same costume you would choose if you had decided to perpetuating negative Jewish stereotypes.
Yep. He probably could have thought a little bit harder about that one.
Twitter was as outraged as you would have expected. “Check out @macklemore performing “Thrift Shop” as a stereotypical Jewish man,” wrote one tweeter. “So much for same love, eh?”
The kind of Jewish stereotype portrayed by Macklemore is rarely seen outside of Nazi newspaper editorial cartoons. What an oblivious jackass

But Macklemore flipped the criticism straight back at ’em with the old, “if you see a Jewish stereotype here, you’re the racist one”.
