Forget the Justin Bieber remix. There’s officially only one version of ‘Despacito’ you need in your life, and it’s sung by a fuzzy orange puppet.
Following in the footsteps of everyone from Major Lazer to these two Croatian cellists, the folks at Sesame Street have produced their own version of Luis Fonsi’s insanely popular track, with Ernie reworking the lyrics so the song is all about his beloved rubber duckie instead of… y’know… fucking.
“Rubber Duckie, it is a connection/It doesn’t have to be a tubby session, ya/Take my day from zero to eleven, ya,” he sings, before breaking out into Spanish for the chorus.
It’s a deadset banger. By the end, even Bert is into it.
