Sean Bean Has Revealed Which Of His Many, Many Death Scenes Is His Favourite
It's a good one.

Whether he’s being crushed by a satellite dish, impaled on an anchor, or run off the side of a cliff by a horde of stampeding cattle, Sean Bean has died on screen more times than almost any other working actor. It’s gotten to the point that just seeing his name in the credits feels like a spoiler.

In retrospect, we should have seen this coming.
But of all his demises, Bean says there’s one that stands out above the rest: that of Boromir in The Lord of the Rings.
“It’s my favorite death scene, and I’ve done a few,” the actor told Entertainment Weekly earlier this week. “You couldn’t ask for a more heroic death.”
For what it’s worth, as someone who cries every time that bit in Fellowship comes around, it’s hard to disagree with Bean on this one.
The actor also shared his tips on how to die on screen, telling the magazine that it’s important not to show off. “You can’t be vain,” said Bean. “Every time you die, it’s a big fucking moment!”
According to his IMDb page, Bean is next set to appear in Drone, a thriller in which he plays a drone pilot who is tracked down by a Pakistani businessman who believes Bean is responsible for the death of his wife and child. Obviously I don’t know for sure how the movie ends, but I can definitely hazard a guess.
