IT’S GONNA BE A HAPPY RU YEAR FOR 2021, QUEENS! The new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race has been announced, and it’s positively SICKENING. Season 13 will be here to devour January 2nd, on Stan with a host of incredible queens, including the show’s first ever transmasculine contestant.

Season 13 was indeed shot this year under strict COVID-safe conditions. “Competing safely and fiercely, our 13 queens proved that it takes more than a global pandemic to keep a good queen down,” said host and executive producer RuPaul in a statement.

While making Drag Race under COVID-19 would be history-making enough, Gottmik will be the series first trans man contestant in the show’s 11-year history. “I need to be the first trans winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, PERIOD,” the LA make-up artist states in his Meet The Queens video.

But the rest of the queens are just as fierce, and just as ready to ring in the happy ru year. Who, out of these 13 queens, will take home the crown of “America’s Next Drag Superstar”? Let’s meet them!
