Could Rosé From BLACKPINK Be Behind Taylor’s Break-Up?

So, it turns out that Rosé — the Kiwi-born artist from BLACKPINK — isn’t just one of the world’s biggest pop stars, she may also have the power to destroy your one chance at happiness. 

Hear me out. Fans of the massive K-Pop group BLACKPINK reckon that getting your picture taken with the band’s mononymous lead dancer and vocalist will likely hurl you towards a world of pain, with a number of high-profile couples recently having broken up after being photographed in her orbit.

The saga began when Florence Pugh and Rosé posed together for a happy snap at a Tiffany & Co. event in 2022, with news surfacing just days later that Pugh had broken up with Zach Braff.

Now, for me, this is enough evidence to conclude that Rosé was definitely responsible for the split. But for the naysayers, there’s more: Bella Poarch also ended up divorced after getting snapped with Rosé, and Kendall Jenner — after a photo with the star —  broke up with Devin Booker.

Then there was the big one: Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn. As soon as Taylor and Rosé snapped a photo together at the VMAs afterparty in 2022, it was over for those bitches, and by bitches I mean Taylor and Joe.

Other casualties of The Rosé Curse include Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik; Halsey and Alev Aydin; and Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford.

I’m pretty sure that even the most annoying statisticians will take all of this as undeniable evidence of a Rosé curse — so sure, in fact, that I’m not going to ask any. What I will do, though, is take a moment to celebrate this Australian-raised grim reaper of love. Why? Because much like Lady Gaga, I believe in the empowerment of women.

So, good for you, Rosé. We support you. And we trust you to do what’s right. One photo at a time.
