Remember when he made up that story about watching a clown car explode?

Robert Pattinson might be the most chaotic human being on the entire planet.

Sure, the guy edged towards the mainstream during his years as Edward Cullen, the dashing hero of the Twilight saga. But underneath that sheen of tween-safe charm, Pattinson was a raging cesspit of bizarre neuroses, quasi-fetishistic desires and confusing, fake stories about dead clowns.

And things have only gotten wilder since those Cullen days finished. Over the last few years, Pattinson’s been able to make movies that fit his antic energy, bizarro classics like High Life and Good Time, all while further honing his great skill of being the most unpredictable human being alive.

Indeed, as tribute to the man’s livewire nature, Twitter user @dilfcore has compiled Pattinson’s wildest moments, and my goodness they’re a lot.

Who can forget, for instance, his repeated claim that he’ll turn to porn if his role in The Batman flops.

Or his habit of agreeing to random marriage proposals.

Or these all-time great pull quotes.

Or just literally any of this madness.

For my money, however, the wildest Robert Pattinson moment has to be this one, where he derailed a relatively normal interview by telling a story about the time he watched a clown blow up. A story that, many years later, he revealed was totally and completely untrue.

Truly, there is no-one on the entire planet who does it like he does it, and we should respect him for that. Respect him, and maybe fear him too.
